FIRST TRIMESTER
The first trimester of your pregnancy is an exciting time when you are beginning the experience of growing your family. We order all bloodwork, ultrasounds and our appointments guide you into what you should expect.
SECOND TRIMESTER
Your second trimester will bring more changes and an exciting detailed ultrasound when you will finally see your growing baby! There is more testing and more teaching to be done about how to optimize your health in your pregnancy.
THIRD TRIMESTER
As baby approaches, our appointments become more frequent as we start to discuss details around your birth wishes, ensure you have the right support in place and monitor baby’s growth and well-being.
BIRTH AND BEYOND
Whether you choose to deliver in the hospital or in a home setting, you will be supported throughout until your baby is born. Your midwife will see you for all postpartum visits and at home with your baby for 6 weeks following the birth.
HOME VISITS:
Where the Midwife’s Heart Is
Whether you delivered in the hospital or in your home, midwives come to you for the remainder of your postpartum care, doing all medical checks on you and your baby in order to ensure both are thriving. We arrange consultations if necessary and work with various specialists for individualized needs.
