LACTATION CLINIC AT POMEGRANATE COMMUNITY MIDWIVES

Amanda is excited to be contributing to Pomegranate Community Midwives by doing a Lactation Clinic twice per month. These visits are free for anyone who is pregnant and anyone postpartum until the baby is 6 weeks of age. If your baby is older than 6 weeks there is a fee. If your baby is brand new and you don’t think you can make it to the clinic, Amanda also offers home visits and virtual visits to support your lactation needs.

Next clinics: April 21, April 28, May 12, May 26, June 9, June 23.

Topics that are ideal for lactation consultations include:

  • baby is slow to gain weight

  • you are unsure if the latch is good

  • you are experiencing low/high milk supply

  • you want to explore different feeding methods

  • you have had a breast augmentation/reduction

  • you suspect your baby has a tongue and/or lip tie

  • you are a non-gestational parent and want to breastfeed or chestfeed

  • you are pregnant again and want a different feeding experience than your first time

  • you have a medical condition such as PCOS, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorder or anything else that might affect lactation

To inquire about an appointment, fill out the information below and Amanda will arrange a consultation with you.
